Rowand Services

Rowand Services is the small business that we run to take care of various "Business Activities" that we engage in. Typically, as the business name might imply, this is providing various services for other people or businesses. For example, Debbie is a highly skilled typist and can transcribe audio-taped material for a reasonable fee. Mike is skilled at helping out people with various and unusual automotive electrical problems, and in helping folks track down parts and services that are related to the types of vehicles he owns and restores. We generally avoid doing anything through the business that involves a physical transfer of goods, as that gets messier than we care to deal with for tax purposes for a business. If we buy or sell stuff, we do it as ourselves, and handle any "services for hire" arrangements through the business. In Mike's case, we also specifically avoid doing anything through the business that is directly related to the proverbial Real Job that also helps fund this site, as it's not very nice (or always legal, for that matter) to moonlight on your company without their consent.

Please visit the rest of our website to learn more about us and what we have to offer. We provide the entire website and it's contents free of charge for commercial or non-commercial use as long as you clearly credit us for the material and any reproductions you may make. If I have obtained information from another source, specially a commercial source, I make every attempt to credit that source, and you should contact them before using any of their material.

If we have actually provided a useful, entertaining, or otherwise worthy service to you with our website, by communicating with you via email, or in some other fashion, we ask that you donate to us to help keep the website running and (hopefully) expand the contents in the future. (I'll get a PayPal donate button hooked up here sometime soon.) Researching many of these things requires time, parts, and sometimes equipment - and the parts and equipment tend to cost Real Money. The amount is up to you - anything you feel is appropriate helps defray the costs we incur.

Comments? Kudos? Got some parts you'd like to buy/sell/barter/swap? Nasty comments about my web page so far? You can email Mike or Debbie.
