This is the virtual counterpart to my shop. It's like stepping into my garage and checking out my stuff. Or something like that. Anyway, I put information up here to show everyone what I'm doing, and I also use this site as a bit of "scratch space" to keep track of my various projects. I'll be keeping my various little lists up here as a reminder to myself and updating them as I go along.

Check out the site as you care to. Or ignore it. Whatever. Just enjoy yourself! Be sure and let me know if you found anything useful up here and/or if you'd like to see some additional information up here on the site. The areas of information I have for you are listed below.

In case you don't know me - I'm a car nut. A gearhead. The kind of guy who thinks "More Power!" is a good motto to live by - at least when it comes to the car. I read Car Craft, Popular Hot Rodding, and Street Rodder. I think the burnout contest is cool. I'd love to drag race one of my behemoths, but never seem to find the time to get down to the strip and do it. I'm into gadgets, and wiring is a breeze to me, so I'm into all the power options, and little gadgets to make the car work right. I like EFI, but run carbs on all my rides 'cause I'm too broke to swap to EFI yet. I like anything that goes fast, but tend to be a GM fan - Buick in particular. I even like an import here and there. (If I gotta drive a rice burner, I'm gonna hot rod it sooner or later. Deal with it.)

During my time wrenching on my rides, and those of my friends, I've collected a fair amount of knowledge and a few web links for cool stuff in my travels and trials. (Truism: Knowledge gained is in direct proportion to equipment broken. And I've broken lots of stuff. :-) In the spirit of sharing (and hoping to score a bit more info from anyone reading this who cares to share it with me :-), I'm posting a bunch of my automotive-related info on this site. I'll be adding cool links as I find 'em, and other little pages of my own as I get a chance to craft them. But, since that takes time, I don't have as much as I want to here yet. If none of this interests you, then go someplace else and find something that does interest you.

I'll also freely let people know what businesses were a big help to me - and which ones weren't. If you find a supplier courtesy of my site, tell 'em who sent you and have 'em check out my site. Who knows, maybe they'll cut me a referral fee or a discount if I send 'em enough business. Maybe not. At least I can help the really good suppliers thrive so they can keep selling the stuff I want/need.

I'm also a regular eBay buyer under the handle of buick-guy. I'm always looking for a deal, and I find quite a few good ones on eBay. I use PayPal whenever possible, and for the auctions where I'm the seller I prefer to accept payments via PayPal. Sign up for a PayPal account online today - it's easy and very handy.

Make payments with PayPal - it's fast, free and secure!

I collect original advertisement and other sales literature for each of my vehicles. The material on the 1958 Buick is by far the most interesting and I have much more of it than for any other car. My house is filled with it.

Comments? Kudos? Got some parts you'd like to buy/sell/barter/swap? Nasty comments about my web page so far? You can email Mike or Debbie.
